Hopeful for Change

February was rough. Anika got sick. Then Ian got sick. Then I got sick. I questioned a lot of what I do here after our technical troubles. This community, this living history, felt fragile and easily lost... What is the use of the writing if it can disappear overnight? I still have almost 100 photos that lost their posts. All from years ago, but still frustrating. Then there are the sidebar widgets that I am gradually rebuilding. And techniques for the new look that I need to learn...

Tricky and time consuming to rebuild Lenkaland.

And the book went to the printer! I had to do final proofreading with a quick deadline. Feels good to have it out of our hands, but also so scary to have it out of our hands! The proof pages looked amazing. I can't wait to share it with everyone. I did post photos on the Fairy Craft site of a fairy boy I recently finished.20130303-232206.jpg

I have a ton of photos to share. Stories to tell. I just need to get through the writer's block. Spring is in the air, though. Seeds take root and flowers bloom. The break was nice but I do miss writing here. I miss Lenkaland.

Time to come home :)20130303-233208.jpg
