Nevada City in Autumn
Fall is such a lovely time of year in Nevada City. Trees blaze into crimson, gold, and burgundy. While the houses with their Victorian charm and picket fences become picture-perfect streets to explore. We met up with other photographers thanks to the organization of Erin Thiem of Outside Inn, Inn Town Campground, and Visit Nevada City, and Kial James of Nevada County Scenics.
Exploring my hometown always brings new perspectives and discoveries. Even though I travel the streets again and again, I discover new little nooks and crannies, along with changing colors and light. Nevada City is inspiration.
We wandered the neighborhood then dressed the bridge over the freeway to the Farmer’s Market. Lots of goodness to appreciate. Fall may well be my favorite season. Well, maybe after summer because Summer is for mermaids and swimming and barbecues :). But these warm, fiery-leaf sunshiny days are spectacular.
Let’s go explore :)
