Ian had his first dentist appointment today.  She checked his teeth.  He was not pleased.  His gums were swollen.  Molars are coming.  That explains a lot.

Anika loves the dentist.  She worried we might miss the appointment because I hadn't written down the time and couldn't reach anyone to figure it out.  Luckily they were wonderful and when I called right at opening, they said, "right now.  Hurry on over."

And they could have been grumpy or fussy or obvious like, maybe you should write these things down, but they were kind.  And I so needed that generosity today.  Thank you.  The small interactions of the day are not small at all.  You can turn a world around with a little understanding.  We can be sunshine to each other.
