We met with favorite people at the hotel so Mila could catch a nap.  She is an angel, really.  These pictures are proof :)

Anika spent lots of time with her hero.

About as perfect as a weekend can be . . . I even found matching Wild Things t-shirts for Anika and me in Santa Cruz.

We went with Jasper and Beth for a little Chocolat break.

Then we headed for the wharf for a spectacular sunset over crashing waves.  A wonderful evening.
