First Snow

Snow before Thanksgiving? That’s a new milestone. And one that we enthusiastically enjoyed. The snow came in from blue skies the day before, with sudden gusty winds that blew flurries sideways. We tromped around in the backyard to see how everything changed under a layer of chilly white fluff. The snow arrived late in the afternoon so we couldn’t go sledding or build a snowman, but it sure reminded us how winter has fun adventures too.
