Living Photographs

Hello jellyfish at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, one of my favorite places in the world. I remember their grace as they wind along, their frills and tentacles waving languid through the water. And today I made the image match my vision. Stillness and motion all in the same frame...

My husband and I are curious artists. We see lots of great ideas. This new idea inspired us and kept me busy all day long creating magical moving images. We see the world in motion. So adding animations to these images brought them back to life for me. Yes, movies show movement, yet somehow the contrast of stillness and motion gives both elements attention.

These images fascinate me!

I have a learning curve as I figure out which images work the best. I am going back into all the archives. Inspiration is everywhere.

Photography is my great playground. And these inspire me to create! We're going to have fun.

I will keep collecting them in this gallery if you want to see more. Enjoy!
