Cosplay at Wizard World

It's the time of year, when the cosplay plans start coming together! Anika has a few ideas simmering... she finished a prop this week that blew me away! She's got a knack. We're going to have fun this summer photographing her creations.

Meanwhile, she has big plans for Wizard World Comicon in Sacramento, CA. She remembers fun scenes like this where everyone wanted a selfie with a little paper bag Groot.

Last year's costume contest at Wizard World Sacramento was a big inspiration. The fun of cosplay is that the idea is just the beginning. Love dragons? And Pokemon? Mash them into a Pokemon Dragon team. Love superheroes? And unique colors? Mash them together. The only limit is imagination, which is course is limitless.

What cosplay idea will inspire the epic costumes this year? See the full gallery of the Cosplay Costume Contest here.

Some of the great costumes are on the show floor. All day, we enjoyed new fun interpretations of classic characters. Especially with kids :)

Looking forward to new heroes (and villians) this year.

Happy planning! We hope to see you at the show!
