Is Iron Man/Tony Stark in the Disability Community?
So far, I say yes. We claim him!
I’m researching, too. I will let you know more as I put the puzzle pieces together.
For me, his heart condition requires a health-based-decision-prism and accessible technology. That makes him one of ours.
Oh, and we get Nick Fury too- legally blind in one eye
. We rock!

Well, he wears a powered prosthetic. And while it’s arguabble whether he needs it or not, powered prosthetics are on their way. The japanese are just about there with powered leg prosthetics for people with mobility problems.
That was my thinking, too.
A question that I’m pondering: if mechanical supports go above and beyond, does that negate the underlying cause requiring those supports?
Does a mechanical solution erase the disability?
I wonder . . .
My internet looking found that in the comics he removed the shards needing the prosthetic magnet, curing his disability. That didn’t happen in the movie, so . . . I think he’s one of ours
And I can’t wait for those leg prosthetics!
Don’t forget Professor Xavier of the X-men. He uses a wheelchair.
Daredevil is blind.
And Bruce Banner/Hulk has the bipolar thing going bigtime
Yep, definitely bipolar

)
We get a lot of superheroes
Just wait for my new ones- posting tonight.
We also get Freddy Kruger- burn victim (though I’m not sure if he works for or against us
